20th A could be reversed if necessary

 

President Maitripala Sirisena states that the gazette notification relevant to the 20th amendment to the constitution is only a principle guideline with regard to the new Electoral System.

Speaking at a function held in Colombo, the President pointed out that not a single content in the gazette notification was final and the gazette notification could also be reversed if it is necessary.
