SF’s son-in-law’s request rejected by court

Colombo Magistrate Judge rejected Field Marshall Sarath Fonseka’s Son-in-law Dhanuna Thilakaratne’s request by motion today (23) to grant back property taken over by the state and to remove the ban on him to travel abroad.

Magistrate Judge Devika De Liveira stated that considering Dhanuna Tilakeratne is a suspect who had avoided court for nearly 5 year it is impossible to consider the request at the moment.
