Instead of VAT amendment Bill Budget 2017

News received from Government sources disclosed, that instead of presenting controversial VAT amendment bill to Parliament, the Government has decided to include VAT revision in the 2017 Budget to be presented in Parliament in November 2016. This appears to be a strategy to circumvent resistance within the Government and the Opposition.
