About more than one hundred Swallow cages which were made to keep food bu the authorities of the wild life department near the which were stolen by a Chinese woman had been nabbed by the officials of the wild life department in close proximity to the Hambantota harbour.
The officers had made this discovery when they had got a tip off in the.vicinity of the Hambantota International harbour.The Chinese woman had been arrested on the afternoon of the 07th instant.They had taken into their possession food that were kept along with a refrigerator.
It is learnt that the motive of this exercise is to break the swallow cages and sell them for large sums of money by various racketeers..This had been revealed by the forest rangers of the wild life office in Hambantota,WMA Gunatunga.Sisira Kumara,MG Premadasa Assistant forest ranger Wijaya Kumara and assistant forest officers Ajith Nanda Kumara,Sampath Gayandushantha,Madura Prasanna, Zenudeesn,Kelum Lakmal,haminda Kumara,Ajith Nanda Kumara.Chathurika Deepani,PS Sewwandi who conducted investigations.
