Weather Forecast for 13 th September 2016

Fairly strong wind at times (up to 50kmph) is expected over the Southern half of the island and southern sea areas.

Several spells of light showers will occur in the Western, North-Western, Sabaragamuwa and

Central provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts.

Showers or thundershowers may occur at a few places in the Eastern and Uva provinces after 2.00 p.m.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
