GMO has submitted 10 proposals to control smoking fall in line with the world health organisation’s recommendations. Copies were sent to the Prime Minister and the Health Minister and other organizations concerned. Proposals included the following:

Control number of selling places, where tobacco based products sold and introducer a proper licencing system.

To stop packing in small quantities and selling.

Increase tax on tobacco immediately.
