Weather Forecast for 15th September 2016

Fairly strong wind at times (up to 50kmph) is expected over the North-central and Southern provinces.

Light showers may occur in the Western, North-Western, Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces and in theGalle and Matara districts.

Showers or thundershowers may occur at a few places in the Eastern, Uva and Northern provinces after 2.00 p.m.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
