The 71 st sessions of the United Nations General Assembly is scheduled to commence today.

The President is scheduled to address the UN General assembly on the afternoon of September 21.

The presidents delegation includes Ministers Gayantha Karunathilaka., Faizer Musthapha Arjuna Ranatunga and Managala Samaraweera.

He is also scheduled to speak at the high-level event on Open Government Partnership with several leading nations to be held at the UN Headquarters today.
