Colombo Magistrate Court Granted Bail to Sajin Vass

Colombo Magistrate  Court today  granted bail to former UPFA Parliamentarian Sajin Vass Gunawardena  in connection with the  charges of entering into an illegal contract worth Rs.883 million with a Singaporean company to obtain ground handling equipment for the airline. He appeared before the Court today upon a notice. He released on Rs. 250, 0000 cash bail and four sureties of Rs. 10 million of each.   The case will be taken up on 4th November 2016.
