Removal of VAT on Smart Phones

In a  Media conference held in Colombo today (21),  Telecommunication and Digital Infrastructure Minister Harin Fernando said,  that he has given attention for the removal of  VAT on smart phones and other Government Taxes. He said that Government has considered removal of VAT on smart phones in the forthcoming budget for the year 2017.
