Former Minister of Economic Development Basil Rajapaksa has been summoned to the Presidential Commission of Inquiry to record a statement pertaining to investigations into misuse of state resources.
Basil Rajapaksa is summoned to record statements over the alleged misuse of aircrafts belonging to the Sri Lanka Air Force during the tenure of the United People’s Freedom Alliance led government.
He is due to appear before the commission around 1 this afternoon.
In the meantime , The former secretary to the Finance and Treasury Ministry, P. B. Jayasundara before the Presidential Commission to record a statement.
