Straight Forward Jaffna Supreme Court Judge Ilancheliyan Receives Anonymous Letters

During the cricket match between Jaffna College and St.Patrics, a family member was attacked and killed. This case was taken up for inquiry. During the inquiry Judge Ilancheliyan said that, he receives quite a number of anonymous letters. Particularly when suspects of this murder case were released, they were garlanded and received with band music, one letter indicated.  This type of events will be treated as contempt of court. He advised public to avoid such events in future.
