Eighteen passengers travelling in a bus were injured in an accident that occurred at the 35th milepost along the Vavuniya – Horowpathana road. Accident was a result of the bus travelling at a high speed.
The bus plying from Point Pedro to Trincomalee had toppled after it veered off the road.
The injured have been admitted to the Horowpathana and Anuradhapura Hospitals.
