Minor Tremor Reported in Galle Area.

A minor tremor has been reported in  Galle area  this morning(27) .  The Earthquake Monitoring Centre of the Geology Survey and Mines Bureau said.

Earthquake Monitoring Centre  further  said  that they have not been able to determine the magnitude of the earthquake as yet.

According to DMC Spokesman Pradeep Kodippili, the Geological Survey and Mines Bureau said the tremor had been recorded at the Seismic Data and Tsunami Alert Centres (SDTAC) at Matara, Hakmana and Pallekelle

However, no damages have been reported.
