Police has reported that there were complications encountered in investigating Lasantha Wickrematunge’s murder and requested to exhume the body. Followed by this, on 8th of September Mount Lavinia Magistrate has ordered to exhumed the body today (27).
After 5 ½ years body of veteran Journalist Lasantha Wickrematunge was exhumed today. Journalists were not allowed to have close access to the graveyard .
