New Constitution is a Requirement of Fundamentalist

In the press conference held in Borella N. M Perera Center,  Professor G.L .Peiris said, that if any solution of the ethnic problems to be found, an amendment to the constitution is sufficient instead of  the Good Governance Government focusing on a new constitution.

Although there was no need for  a new constitution, the Government is trying to bring a new constitution to satisfy  the international community . Hence, new constitution is not going to resolve problem of the people,  but satisfy the need of the fundamentalists . In conclusion he called  the people of Srilanka  to register their protest to the Government.
