Weather Forecast for 29th September 2016

Fairly strong winds at times (up to 50 kmph) can be expected to continue over the Island and strong winds at times (up to 60-70 kmph) can be expected to continue in the deep and shallow sea areas off the coast extending from Hambantota to Batticaloa via Pottuvil.

Several spells of showers will occur in the Western, Central, Sabaragamuwa, North Western and Northern provincesand in the Galle and the Matara districts.

Thundershowers may occur at a few places in the Eastern and Uva provinces after 2.00 p.m.
