Srilanka & South Korea Signed Mutual Training Programme MOU

President of the National Defence University of Korea Lieutenant General Wee Seungho paid a courtesy call to State Minister of Defence Ruwan Wijewardene and Secretary to the Ministry of Defence Karunasena Hettiarachchi.  Followed by a discussion,

Sri Lanka and South Korea have signed a mutual programme  Memorandum of Understanding.

State Minister Ruwan Wijewardene said Sri Lanka will focus on providing special training to South Korean national defence officials at the Kotelawala Defence University.

Furthermore, training programs will be implemented for Sri Lankan defence officials at the South Korea National Defense University.

 Wee Seungho said the friendly ties between the two countries will be further developed through the Memorandum of Understanding.
