Anura Senanayake’s Bail Application For Hearing on 19th October

Former Senior DIG Anura Senanayake has been arrested and remanded over concealing evidence in the murder case of Rugby player,  Wasim Thajudeen.

The Colombo High Court Judge Padmini N Ranawaka Gunathilake  considered   the bail application  today(7). She has ordered  amended bail application filed by former Senior Deputy Inspector General of Police Anura Senanayake will be taken up for hearing on the 19th of October.

Anura Senanayake was further remanded till the 19th of October in connection with  the incident.
