Despite Change in Government, Politician’s Son Continues Mayhem in Night Club?

Son of a VVIP( Politician) had allegedly gone to a night club in Slave Island, Union Place on Saturday  at 2 “o” clock and demanded entry. Security officer on duty has informed him politely that the night cub is full and there is no space for them to occupy. But  the Politician’s son had forcefully entered the night club after attacking the security officer with the help of security men accompanied him. The security officer got severely wounded on his head was immediately taken to the Colombo General hospital. During this incident, flower vase, lights and other decorating structures were destroyed by this politician’s gang. Maradana police was informed promptly. They recorded statement from the owner of the night club, examining CCTV cameras fixed around the place and continue their investigation.

Wounded night club Security officer was unable to identify the men, who has assaulted him Saturday.

In the meantime, Joint Opposition MP, Wimal Weerawansa made some remarks alleging that the son of a VVIP was involved in the brawl. He said the son of the VVIP concerned attended the night club with his group at 2 a.m. on this day.
