A busy artist who had been in the field for three weeks at a stretch in Dambulla area returned home to enjoy the weekend.

Next day he got into his garden and started working. All of a sudden he found a rattle snake entering the compound. As he knew very well that smell of kerosene simply deter rattle snake, this man ask his wife who was busy in the kitchen to bring the bottle of kerosene.

The women came rushing with the mobile phone instead of kerosene bottle.   “Where is the kerosene bottle?” shouted the man. I will bring it but before that I want to take picture of this creature to post on Facebook, she said.
