FCID Questioned Lohan Ratwatta on Sports Complex

MP, Lohan Ratwatte  gave a  statement to the FCID as he was a director of the Mahinda Rajapaksa foundation, which monitored  the construction of the sports complex.

He said,  President Siresena asked the FCID to investigate  the construction of the sports complex  alleging there were financial irregularities.

He denied  the claim made  by the President  and liked to state that the sports complex was constructed by using funds from several individuals. The complex is maintained by the Army. This is a witch hunt against the opponents of the Government , he concluded.
