Renovation of Closed Tanks a Discussion Between Rishad & Vijayamuni

Irrigation Minister Vijayamuni  has assured the Ministry of Industry and Commerce  Rishad,  that  the tanks filled with sand during the conflict will be reconstructed and made available for the public to utilize it for their benefits.  In Mannar district tanks including  in Malwattu oya , Viyayadikulam  will be  rehabilitated and reconstructed.

This was made possible after a discussion held between  Vijayamuni and Rishad Bathiudeen and his delegation. Minister Vijayamuni  has ordered Mannar district Chief Engineer to submit estimate for this project. Rishad has brought to the notice of the Vijayamuni that planned opening of an  irrigation office suddenly stopped and requested to open it at least by December 2016.

Rishad has brought about other abandoned tanks to the notice of  Vijayamuni Soyza and requested to rehabilitate it too.
