Weather Forecast For 14 th October 2016

Atmospheric conditions are getting favorable for afternoon thundershowers.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in the Eastern, Northern, North-Central, Central, Sabaragamuwa and Uva provinces after 2.00 p.m and will spread to the other provinces later.

Showers will occur in the Western province and in the Galle, Matara, Trincomalee and puttalam districts in the morning too.

Fairly heavy falls (above 50 mm) are also likely at some places.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
