Gota Praised Maithree

Former Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksha said  that  there is no secret agreement between Maithree and Rajapakshas.

He has not  held  any discussion with me  before condemning  summoning of Former  Navy Commanders to the court . He further said, that   Maithree has realized the correct situation in this connection. I am really happy about it.  I hope he won’t  give in  to pressures and take straight forward  decision on  his own  in future. He has spoken to a Sinhala media yesterday.

When the journalist raised the questioned as to  whether it is wrong  to take steps against him for  alleged offences done by you?. He replied stating that he has not  boycotted any of the inquiries but he is against inquiries being held through various divisions institution list under political agenda, which we  have pointed  out during last two years. President has pointed out this same thing today, he concluded.
