Lorry driver changing tire sent to hospital because of reckless youths probable drunk driving

A youth has died in a motor accident in the Wadduwa, Pothupitiya area today (26).

The youth was travelling back from a party when the van he was travelling in crashed with a stationary Lorry. 5 people travelling in the Van and the Lorry driver who was changing a tire were also injured in the collision and were admitted to the Panadura hospital.

The deceased was a currently residing in Dehiwala and his brother was also reported to have been travelling in the Van.
