Steps to Revise Establishment Code?

In view of the Right to Information act now in operation, the need arise to revise the Establishment Code of the Government.

Public Administration Minister Ranjith Madduma Bandara has appointed a committee chaired by Minister Secretary J.J.Ratnasri. The other members of the committee are one of the ministry Directors, P.Somadasa, an officer from the Attorney General Department and two officers of the Ministry.

The committee is expected to have its first meeting to consider revision of establishment Code.
