Dilrukshi , DG Bribery Com. Tendered Her Resignation

Followed by   President Sirisena’s   controversial speech,  where he said that the Bribery Commission could be working under a political agenda, the Director General of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption Dilrukshi Dias Wickramasinghe expressed her desire to resign last week.

Further President in his speech slammed the commission for filing a court case against three former navy commanders and  insisted that the commission should understand as to why independent commissions were created.

The Director General of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption Dilrukshi Dias Wickramasinghe stated that she has tendered  her resignation letter to the President Today (17 ).
