Akanksha Sharma’s shocking revelations about her marriage to Yuvraj Singh’s brother

The premiere episode of Bigg Boss 10 kicked off on a very controversial note. The moment one of the Indiawale contestant, Akanksha Sharma walked in, she revealed that she had come out of a bad marriage two years back and her husband was ace cricketer Yuvraj Singh’s brother Zoravar. Talking about her marriage to Bigg Boss 10 host Salman Khan, Akanksha referred to her marriage as a time which she thought she would not survive. She added, “My family could not understand what I was going through,” and said she was not even treated like a human by her mother-in-law, Shabnam. Akanksha is estranged from her husband.

And since that moment, media hasn’t exhaled. After stepping into the house, the contestant has been quite vocal about her married life. During a discussion with TV actor and Bigg Boss 10 housemate Gaurav Chopra, Akanksha revealed how she and Zorawar went for their honeymoon but the family intruded the couple’s privacy by accompanying them just to keep a close eye on them. She also said that her mother-in-law forced her to conceive and start her family.

This conversation between Gaurav and Akanksha happened during the on-going task of guessing Indiawale’s secrets. While Akanksha was blamed by her housemates for giving away the point so easily, Gaurav seemed impressed with her. In the recent episode, we saw Gaurav apologising her and telling her that he is proud that being a woman she has faced all of it so strongly and is even vocal about it.

Akanksha Sharma, who is from Gurgaon, married Zorawar in 2014 but their marriage didn’t last long. While Akanksha said she had no problem with her husband or Yuvraj, she could not deal with her mother-in-law. She finally left and will soon get a divorce. She now wants to start her life afresh inside the Bigg Boss house. But is there a truth to her story? Does Swami Om has a point here that everything is happening for a reason?
