Rishad Meets Rita UN Minority Rights Rapporteur

Minister of Industry and Commerce and leader of ACMC Rishad Bathiudeen met the visiting UN Special Rapporteur on Minority Issues Rita Izsák-Ndiaye on 19 October.

Minister Bathiudeen discussed about the well-being of Lankan minorities and their issues with the visiting UN Rapporteur Ms Rita Izsák-Ndiaye during their half-hour long successful meeting at the Ministry.  He requested Rita to point out that Muslim society in Srilanka should not be affected in political activities.
