Opening of the Same Road by Two Different Ministers at Opposite Ends

Ministers and politicians are in a hurry to open developed or new roads and bridges. In Habaraduwa electorate a portion of the Lanumodera road across Habaraduwa – Liyanagoda was opened by the Minister of Highways Lakshman Kiriella, while the same road was opened from the other end by the State Minister of High Ways Dilan Perera.

In this connection there was confusion created by UNP as well as SLFP party strong men in the electorate.
