Former Batticaloa Mayor Sivageetha Prabhakaran Arrested & Remanded for Running a Brothel House

A special police team  assigned  to  raid a  lodge , where prostitution takes place under the pretext  of  providing accommodation, has raided the lodge which was attached to the house of Former Mayor of Batticaloa  Sivageetha Prabhakaran and found  couples inside. Three  suspects who were arrested in connection with the case have also been remanded along with Sivageetha Prabhakaran,  who was arrested on the allegation of running a brothel has been remanded until 07 November.

The suspects were remanded after being produced before Batticaloa Magistrate M. Ganesharajah this morning (24).
