Political Pundits Presiding Public Finance Identified New Source of Income to the State?

Political pundits along with officers put their heads together to discover new ways and means of increasing the revenue for the public coffers. One pundit presented a proposal to fell trees on State own lands and sell timber. He pointed out that they could easily collect Rs.4 Billion from this sale. Another one suggested that there is another source of income as lucrative as logging. There is a good demand for elephants. Why don’t we capture a good number of wild elephants for sale? By selling them we can fetch a good price. There by we could easily ease the human elephant conflict to a great extent.

All participants accepted these proposals with none raising any objection to it.
