Women Sex Workers Increasing Trend in Srilanka?

While replying a question raised by MP Buddhika Pathirana, Deputy Minister of Health Faizal Cassim said, in Parliament that according to survey done, there are 14,130 women sex workers in Srilanka. The last record indicates that 630 were affected by HIV.  Hence, Ministry of Health has taken steps to prevent spreading of HIV by providing condom and through awareness programme.
