Mattakkuliya Shooting Suspects to be Detained until 31st October 2016.

Four persons were killed in the shooting reported in Samithpura, Mattakkuliya on Sunday. Police said three others also sustained injuries in the incident. The reason behind the shooting has not been uncovered yet while investigations are carried out by the Colombo Crimes Division.

Eleven suspects, including the main suspect of the four murder were arrested in Rathnapura on Tuesday night.

The Colombo Magistrate’s Court today granted permission to the Colombo Crimes Division to detain the eleven arrested in connection with the Mattakkuliya four murder for questioning.

The Colombo Additional Magistrate Chandana Kalansuriya ordered the suspects to be detained until the 31st of October.
