UDA Spends 1.7 Billion per Month to Maintain “Mahinda Rajapakshe” Conference Hall in Hambantota?

A modern international conference hall called “Mahinda Rajapakshe” Conference Hall was established in Hambantota. This hall was utilized for one or two days after inauguration.

Now the burden of maintain this hall fell on UDA. To maintain this hall the UDA has too spend Rs 1.7 Billion per month.

This was revealed by the Minister of Mega Polis and Urban Development, Champika Ranawaka in a press conference called to explain the Colombo city project.
