Rishad Seeks More Agricultural Land to be Released for Cultivation

Followed by a meeting  Industry and Commerce  Minister  , Rishad had with Defence Secretary  to get the release of Marichchukaddi , Pallaikulli  agricultural land  to the people. Defence Secretary has ordered to release the land coming under the purview of Musali  Divisional Secretariat , which is now used by Navy.

 Rishad has insisted  release of other lands taken over by the forces, which are in excess of the requirement of forces. Further, he requested the Cooperative building located at the gateway of Mannar now being occupied  by the Army to be released  to  renovate and open a cooperative society there. The Secretary Ministry had a patient  hearing and promised to take follow up action.
