Former Governor of CB Arjuna Mahendran Ready to Face Charges.

On the verge of submitting COPE report in parliament, Ranjith Soyza, MP of the joint opposition alleged that Arjuna Mahendran of fleeing the country. While addressing parliament on the aftermath of COPE report submitted, Ranil Wickremasinghe refuted the allegation and said that unlike former Ambassador for Russia Udayanga fled, Arjuna Mahendran has gone abroad to attend a wedding and assured his return. In the meantime different Medias gave different interpretations on this issue.

Arjuna Mahendran has told Media in Singapore that he is ready to face any charge on CB bond issue in Srilanka on his return soon.
