Navy Intelligence Officers Hands in Disappearances

Criminal Investigations Department (CID) filed a comprehensive report in the  Colombo Magistrates Court today . The report states that Wadiwel Pakkilisami and Rathnasami Paramanandan were allegedly abducted by unknown individuals in a white van.  They were not suspected of being engaged in terrorist activities nor involved in such activities nor aided such activities. Further,  it states that Navy intelligence officers in Welisara were directly involved in the disappearance of two individuals in 2009.
