Three Wheel Industry Union Leader Request to Ban Driving Below the Age of 25 years.
Three wheeler’s Union Leader K. D. Alvis has submitted a proposal to the government to ban youths below the age of 25 years from driving three wheelers.
Further, he requested that before engaging them in public transport to those over the age of 25 years should be given three years testing period.
Now three wheelers are imported more than its requirement. In the year 2020 Srilanka become a colony of three wheelers. He praised the steps taken by the Western Provincial Council to register three wheelers operating. By this act use of three wheelers by outsiders will be limited , he said.
