Bail Application By Tisssa Attanayake

 Former MP Tissa Attanayake who was one time secretary of the UNP then crossed over to the Rajapaksha regime just prior to the  Presidential  Election. During election campaign he has displayed forged documents claiming a factious agreement  between Ranil and Maithripala.  Both their signatures were forged.  On complaint lodged with the  police,  followed by an investigation he was arrested and remanded.

He has filed a application at the Colombo High Court to release him on bail.

High Court Judge Sarojini Kusala Weerawardene said,  the verdict of the bail application will be announced in Court tomorrow.
