EC Seeks AG’s Advise to Hold LG Elections in Delimitation Completed Areas

The election monitoring groups had been pressing the Election Department  to hold   Local Government Election of Councils  coming under the areas,  where delimitation work had been completed.  They  pointed out the possibility of holding the elections in 61 bodies. The AG  is expected   to  announce his decision in this regard within next few days.
