Basil Rajapaksa Says One Million Members will Join the New Party

 

Speaking to the media at an event in Ambalangoda yesterday, Former Minister Basil Rajapaksa said that one million members are expected for the new Party formed by the ‘Joint Opposition’, which was registered recently under the leadership of Prof. G.L. Peiris.

The enrolment of new members will begin at an auspicious time and the officials of the party will be elected at a national convention, he concluded.
