New Director General For the Bribery Commission

 Additional Solicitor General Sarath Jayamanne was  appointed as  the new Director General of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC), the President’s  Media Division reported.

Jayamanne is a President’s Counsel and sixth in seniority at the Attorney General’s Department.

The position of Director General became vacant after former Dilrukshi Dias Wickramasinghe tendered her resignation on October 17.
