Govt. Ministers Call Budget a Progressive Prosperity & Development Budget

The budget outlines plans of the government to take the nation towards economic prosperity with an emphasis on the issues faced by the youth. There are a few issues of course. You can’t expect to have a perfect budget, said Sports Minister Dayasiri Jayasekara.

Foreign Affairs Deputy Minister Harsha De Silva said,  that he was happy to be a part of this government which presented  such an effective budget. This budget outlines clearly the plans to develop the country in partnership with the private sector. We congratulate the Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayaka, he concluded.
