SLFP Ignorance of 30% Water Tariff hike- Premajayantha

Research and Technology Minister,  Susil Premajayantha said ,  this proposal had been introduced outside the budget. “We have to discuss this matter,  there by  dis-associating itself from the government’s decision to increase water bills by 30 per cent.

 We were in the dark about it,” he said. When asked about whether   SLFP proposals made by  the Committee  appointed  were all incorporated in the budget, the minister said some other proposals  had been incorporated with modifications.
