Suspect Who Gunned Down SI in Kurunegala Arrested

Last night when  Police  carried out   a search operation  on a passing vehicle  at Maspotha in Kurunegala  area, all of a sudden the   inmates had fired gun shots  at the  Sub Inspector and the police team .  While Sub Inspector  died on the spot  wounded police constables  were taken to the hospital.

In this connection  police has  arrested a resident of Moratuwa today. Police are on the trail of the other suspect who had fled the crime scene.
