“Dirty Hand” Vs “Government of Thieves”

There were brick bats between government group and Joint Opposition group in yesterday’s parliamentary sittings. While Gayan Jayathilake was speaking he said that the previous Government robbed the people’s wealth.  Joint opposition members vehemently protested against this and shouted, saying that for everything this Government blames the previous Government.

Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe intervened and said, that it is proper to call the previous Government as “Government of Thieves”. Readily reply came from JO members shouting “Dirty Hands” at work.
