Chili Powder Attack on Police in the North

 

A Police Post was established at Ketty Junction in Thunnalai North, Point Pedro to check sand smuggling. Five Police men are manning this Police Post during day and night respectively.

Immediately after Sunday mid night, five member gang appeared near the Police Post threw Chili powder on Police men on duty and try to take away Police men’s T 56 guns. They were not successful in the attempt but disappeared from the scene in no time.
