Mahinda to China Soliciting Support For New Party

A new party  named  ‘’Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna’’  was inaugurated  under the  Chairman ship Professor G. L. Peiris recently.

A special delegation, including former President  Mahinda Rajapaksa with a few other members of the joint opposition will undertake a week’s official tour of China tomorrow (23)   to obtain China’s   support for the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna Party. The objective of this trip is to obtain international support for the new  party, sources said.
